latest projects pix

Here are the pictures of the latest projects. I finished knitting the baby surprise jacket this afternoon.

This is the Handsome Triangle Shawl from Victorian Lace Today. The yarn is gossamer from Knitpicks and the color is called Red Hat.

And last the Muir shawl from Knitty in Kidsilk Haze in the color fern. I'm enjoying this pattern more and more as I get used to the pattern repeat. One and a half down, eleven and a half to go, on the first side. (I didn't realize, until I read the entire pattern, that this isn't worked from the center out. I thought there would be a total of 26 repeats. It's worked from end to end with only 13 repeats. I'm now on the 7th repeat)

  1. A lot of progress! Can't wait to see how you're going to "close" the BSJ.

  2. Just finished my own BSJ, my first. Photos to come this week. Wasn't too happy with the finishing, but my great-nephew, who was born the day after I finished, won't be complaining about it. (I know, cutting it close; only started it a week before.) Nice to come out of hibernation and discover a bearly new knit blog. Now if you can just talk me into my first lace project...

  3. Beautiful lace projects!!! Can't wait to see them in person. Hope you still have them when I get back. With your knitting speed I am not so sure!
